Navigator of the Seas
Navigator of the Seas slowly moves away from the berth at Cozumel, Mexico, with the pilot boat visible alongside. 2014
Triumph at Sea
Escapism at sea, is how my sister described this shot. I can see exactly what she was thinking. In the middle of the Gulf of Mexico, 2014
Cruise Ships Leaving Cozumel
It was a busy day at the Mexican cruise resort of Cozumel. In this shot, the Navigator of the Seas was seen under sail out in open water, while the Carnival liner was turning to maneuver out of the port. 2014
Look at the colour of that water; it's just so inviting, and if it wasn't for those rock tearing up your feat, it would be a dream of a beach. Rocky Cozumel Beach, 2011
Cruise Liners in Port
An older image; three cruise liners ready to disgorge several thousand day trips to the island of Cozumel, Mexico, 2011
A setting sun, a perfect sphere dangling in the sky, somewhere out in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico, 2014
This shot reminds me of airline tail fins, lined up a a hit airport somewhere in America. Instead, it was a couple of smoke stacks on top of Carnival Cruise liners in Cozumel, Mexico, 2011
A timber groin and fantastic blue waters on the Caribbean coastline of Cozumel, Mexico. 2014.
Taking in the Sunset
This is what I love about cruises, walking the deck at sunset, staring into the waves, with no pressing schedule. In the middle of the Gulf of Mexico on the Carnival Triumph, 2014
Gulf of Mexico Ocean Sunset
Stunning power of nature, contrasting again the seemingly vulnerable machines of man, in search of oil. On board the Carnival Triumph smack in the middle of the ocean, 2011
A lot of force taken up by these three lines. This the Carnival Triumph, inbound from New Orleans, and moored at Cozumel, 2011
The setting sun was nestled quite nicely on the distant clouds, and it made for an idyllic scene as the Carnival Triumph cruised into the middle of the Gulf of Mexico, 2014.
The Carnival tail fin is quite distinctive, and it looks great from any angle, and a more unorthodox one this like. The smokestack lights look great training away from the edge of the tail. 2011
My wife woke me up to come out on the balcony to see this. A fantastic morning sky over the Cancun Royalton Resort, 2016
A holiday maker audience takes in the evening entrainment at the Royalton beach resort in Cancun. Not really a lot to do in these isolated resorts at night. More a family place, and not for the "young team". , 2016
An evening of trinket shopping, again for a captive marker, as part of the evening entertainment at an isolated beach resort in Cancun, 2016
An interesting set from these Mexican dancers at a beach resort in Cancun, 2016. I stood "backstage" here to get the best shots. Black and white suited this one well given the costumes and white body paint on these performers.
A simple image, with some heavy photoshop treatment.Memories here of the poolside bar at the Cancun Royalton. 2016..
Traditional Mexican dancers, I presume, performing for a captive crowd at an isolated beach resort in Cancun. 2016.
