Washington DC

America’s Capital City

Washington DC., is one of those cities where you’ll find it very difficult to work your way around all of the museums, sites, and landmarks. Three visits in, and I feel that there’s still plenty to see. My interest, as much as anything, is in photographing the city. Most of my photography to date has focused on major Washington DC. landmarks such as the Mall, Washington Monument, Congress, and the Lincoln Memorial. Those are the major landmarks that everyone is familiar with, but I’ve also sought to take long exposure shots of the grand government buildings, such as the Department of Justice and the Hoover Building. Above all, I do enjoy being in one of the old east coast American cities. There’s an energy and an eclectic feel that reminds me of home.
