Not often you see a sundial these days, and when you do, there's always a tendency to get that it's telling the time correctly. This particular example was seen at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum, in eastern Arizona. 2017.
This view is from a trail which was a little easier than i expected - the rocky trail on the south side of the Boyce Thompson Arboretum in southern Arizona. Lots of cactus trees on this trail, and one or two nice views looking back along this modest looking gorge. 2017.
Visiting southern Arizona, i really wanted one those iconic sunset cactus tree shots. Alas, our driving plans meant that it didn't quite work out, and that once we were as far north as Flagstaff, they were nowhere to be seen! Nevertheless, a little tinkering with some filters and some textures, and I ended up with this image from the Boyce Thompson Arboretum. 2017.
