This is the Queens Creek gorge, taken just outside the entrance to the eponymous tunnel in the Superstition Mountains, east Arizona. Any practitioner of photography will know that a foreground is important in an image, and i do like the way the rock stack infront performed in the role. 2017.
Not often you see a sundial these days, and when you do, there's always a tendency to get that it's telling the time correctly. This particular example was seen at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum, in eastern Arizona. 2017.
This view is from a trail which was a little easier than i expected - the rocky trail on the south side of the Boyce Thompson Arboretum in southern Arizona. Lots of cactus trees on this trail, and one or two nice views looking back along this modest looking gorge. 2017.
